Write a one-page paper in which you identify at least three techniques for building relationships with customers in today’s competitive business environment. Focus especially on ways to build long-term relationships and create loyal customers. In your paper, include the following:
- Use the following three techniques to build customer relationships, along with descriptions of each technique.
- Become familiar with your customers: Get to know who they are and why they do business with you. Find out their likes and dislikes.
- Tell your customers what they can expect: Convey to your customers your commitment to them. Live up to their expectations: Follow through by accomplishing what you have said that you would do.
- Maintain consistency: Do not promise what you cannot deliver, but always deliver a consistent service. Customers like to know that they will have the same positive experience every time they interact with you.
- One practical example that describes how to implement one of these techniques in a customer service setting.
