Order Paper Nowclassmate’s reasponse (Yes, I have embarked on a journey before to visit the church Pope John Paul II was baptized in. My father is from Poland, and some of our family members still live there. When I was younger, we would visit over the summer with the purpose of not only seeing our family, but also learning more about the culture and people of Poland. My family is Catholic, and they love Pope John Paul II because of his religious contributions and his Polish national heritage. Visiting where the now former Pope was baptized was a great experience that made me feel more in touch with my heritage and my religion. Also, we were able to get holy water from the church and now we keep it in tiny glass containers above each doorway in our home.)
