Order Paper NowAs stated in the lecture, the four parts of the Christian Biblical Narrative are four distinct parts of the great story of the Bible. The Bible is not necessarily arranged chronologically and in a linear fashion. The different books of the Bible are written by different authors and from different time periods and dodo not necessarily follow a beginning to end type of storytelling but instead all allude to the great story that is subdivided into the four parts mentioned above. The first part being Creation refers to the Creator – God and all of his creation including nature and humans. The Fall describes the event when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and sin entered the world through this event. Redemption describes how the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ saves humans and therefor redeems them through forgiveness and salvation. Finally, the restoration is to restore humans to the state before the fall – including the return of Jesus. These four parts speak of God’s mercy and love for humankind. His provision of grace in the form of Jesus as humankind’s salvation is an act of great love. For many Christians, illnesses could be believed as an effect of the Fall. However, many Christians also believe that God is the great healer. It may be in this world, or after earthly life that one may find the healing that they need both physically and spiritually. One can find comfort in that how these four parts of the great story promise deliverance and redemption, the person should feel that there is a promise to hold on to.
