  • I don’t think we should respect this teacher because she drives an old car.
  • If you use this type of hair gel, you will be more attractive and have more power.
  • This country can either have a strong police force or a strong educational system.

Examine the list of sentences provided and complete the following:

  1. Identify the type of fallacy apparent in each sentence (such as “Slippery Slope” or
  2. “Bandwagon Appeal”) and then explain in your own words why the given claim is a fallacy.
  3. Rewrite each statement so that it no longer contains a logical fallacy but reflects a solid
  4. claim.
