Topics: “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” does it Hurts Military Readiness?” The “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy has been a long debate in the military and political world. Recently the policy has been reversed yet beforehand there has been long controversial talk between the two worlds about military readiness and if it would ever be affected if reversed. “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy was a huge change for the military community with new training techniques to accept potential changes. It has been brought to my attention that there may still be military members that might feel as if military readiness might be jeopardized by this reversal. In my paper my research will provide that military readiness will not and have not been affected because of the reversal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. In this paper I will look deeper into the parts of the “zero tolerance” for bullying, it’s an expensive policy, and repealing this policy will insure that the military will have the best of the best serving our country.
