how to respond to a students response 2 7
This Bible Verse serves as a guide and reminder that our actions lead toward consequences if not thought out or acted out in right way. We must be wise in our daily choices and our actions as they will help lead us in the right direction and we will have clearer mindset on decisions. Oftentimes it is easier to do things, not because it’s right or wrong, but because we want it and it feels good now. This type of thinking doesn’t factor in the end results of those decisions made. The Holy Bible states “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully” (2 Corinthians 9:6, King James Version). Now this is easier said then done, as we are human, and we must fight a daily battle and keep reminding ourselves are the actions we are about to take right and just in the eyes of the Lord. For example, our first instinct is to have revenge on someone who has hurt us in some way. I have even felt so angry that I wanted that person to hurt as much as I did but I’ve had to take some time out and calm myself and pray to God that he will handle the situation for me. It’s easier to let it go then to keep letting things eat away at you. By letting the situation consume you, it makes you become a bitter person. As a steward of God, we should always be reminded that we should continue to serve him and treat everyone with respect and help if we are able to no matter what.
