The phrase “Global War on Terrorism” was used to describe the conflict against terrorism, post-911, from 2001 to 2013. In 2013, the end of “Global War on Terrorism” was announced, indicating the U.S. would not wage a war against a tactic and the focus would be diverted to specific groups. Do you believe the verbiage used to initially describe the war on terror was too broad and complex or do you believe it appropriately labeled the nature of the threat following 9/11.
